Skippyjon Jones

Skippyjon Jones is a Siamese cat who believes he is a Chihuaha. He is the main character of a laugh out loud, funny, book series. The students in my classroom giggle over the adventures that take place in Skippyjon's closet when he is supposed to be thinking about his behavior. The stories are complete with fun characters, phrases in Spanish, and repetitive lines children will help you read right away. Please check out Skippyjon Jones by Judy Schachner! We have only read the first book in my classroom, but many more will be in the future.

Pete the Cat

The students in my classroom have grown to love Pete the Cat. Pete is a character created by Eric Litwin. Pete is a cat who tells kids not to worry! "Does Pete cry? Goodness no!" Pete's books also have music that can be downloaded from the publisher's website. Pete's books include:
